You can find Ceramica Art & Crafts right along G.T. Road. Being on such a main road means there is always traffic and noise outside, but it helps people find us easily enough. We deal with ceramics and various craft items. It's a lot of fragile stuff, so we spend a good chunk of our day wrapping things in bubble wrap and packing boxes carefully. If you drop something here, it's usually gone for good, so we all walk a bit carefully around the storage area. The shop isn't anything fancy. It’s basically a big room filled with shelves of different pots, vases, and decorative pieces. Some are colorful and others are more plain. We get all kinds of people stopping in because they saw the sign from the road. We don't really do much advertising; the location does most of that work for us. The building itself is old, with high ceilings that help keep it a bit cooler in the summer months. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the cash and the paperwork. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We know our regulars and sometimes we just sit and chat with them while they browse. It’s a simple way to spend the day. We aren't looking to expand into a giant chain or anything. We just like what we do and hope the items we sell find a good home.
