We are located near the Budhlada Bus Stand in Alampur Bodla, which is in the Mansa district. Harbilas Jalan & Sons has been a fixture in this area for quite some time. Being so close to the bus stand means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside, which keeps things interesting for us. The business has passed through the family, and we still do things the way they were done years ago, mostly. We don't have any flashy signs or a modern showroom. It’s a place where we handle our daily trade and talk to the people who come in from the surrounding villages. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, but other days everyone seems to show up at once. We manage it all without too much fuss. Our address is easy to find if you know the area well. We handle a variety of things depending on what the season calls for. It is a family-run operation, so there is usually someone from the house around to help out. We don't use much technology besides the basics. We prefer writing things down in our ledgers and talking to people face to face. It feels more real that way.
