Bharat Bhusan

We are right on Railway Road. It is a noisy spot because of the trains passing by all day, but you get used to it after a week. The business is named Bharat Bhusan. Most people around here just know us by the name on the board outside. It’s been there a long time now. The paint is peeling a bit near the bottom because of the heavy monsoon rains we had last year. We haven't gotten around to fixing that yet since it doesn't really affect the work. Inside, it's mostly shelves and a couple of heavy wooden desks that have been passed down. We do our business here every day from morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late if there is a lot of paperwork or if a regular customer comes by at the last minute. The floor is made of old tile and it creaks whenever you walk near the back corner by the storage. We have a small fan that rattles on high speed, but it keeps the air moving when it gets really humid. It isn’t a fancy office with glass walls or any of that corporate stuff. Just a regular place where work gets done. My nephew helps out sometimes when he isn’t busy with his school. We drink a lot of tea from the stall next door. The tea man knows exactly how we like it. It’s a simple life.
