Atish Enterprises

We’ve been here at Atish Enterprises for quite a while now. Our spot is right on Bhikhi Road, not too far from the Iti Chowk in Budhlada. Most people in Mansa district know the area. It gets pretty dusty out here when the trucks go by, but we don’t mind it much. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside. We usually open up early in the morning when the sun is just coming up and stay late if there is work to finish. It’s just how things go around here. Some days it is quiet and we just sit and drink tea, while other days everyone is rushing around trying to get things sorted. My family has been in this part of Punjab for a long time, so we know the neighbors well. If you are driving down towards the Taluka, you will see our sign. It is a bit faded from the sun lately. We handle whatever comes through the door. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just wait it out. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the trade. People stop by just to chat sometimes, which is nice. We try to keep the place organized, but with all the inventory, it gets a bit cluttered. That is just part of the business, I guess.
