Kids Campus International Play School

We started Kids Campus International Play School right here in the Housing Colony in Ompura, Budgam. It is a quiet enough spot for the little ones. Most days are pretty much the same. We open up early and wait for the parents to drop their kids off before they head to work. There are a lot of toys scattered around the rooms and we try to keep things organized but with three and four-year-olds, that doesn't always happen. The rooms are bright and we have some posters on the walls to help them learn colors and shapes. It gets a bit cold here in the winters but we manage with heaters. Most of the staff are from nearby, so we know most of the families by name. We aren't doing anything fancy, just giving the kids a place to be while their parents are busy. Sometimes they cry when they first come in, then they start playing and don't want to leave. We spend a lot of time just talking to them and making sure they eat their lunch. The building is just a regular place in the colony, nothing that stands out too much from the outside. We have a small area where they can run a bit. It’s a lot of work looking after small children all day but it keeps us busy. We just focus on the basics like sharing and being kind to each other while they learn their first letters.
