Itfaq Builders Private Limited is based out of Gingal Upper in Baramulla. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but the view is good and it’s where we feel most at home. We have been building things in the Baramulla area for a long time now. Whether it’s a house or a commercial shed, we just get on with it. Gingal Upper is a quiet enough place to keep our equipment and plan out the week. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. We are just a local crew that knows how to handle a trowel and a level. A lot of our time is spent just getting materials up the hills, which can be a real pain when the roads are bad or covered in slush. But we are used to it by now. We don't have a mission statement or a polished marketing plan. We just have our reputation in the village and the surrounding areas. If a wall is crooked, we fix it. If a client has a question, we answer it over a cup of tea. It’s a very simple business model based on just being there and doing the work we said we would do. We’ve seen the town change a lot over the years, and we are glad to have played a small part in building some of it. It’s hard work, but it’s ours and it keeps the lights on.
