Chandhar Builders Private Limited is run out of Chandhara, which is in the Pampore area. Specifically, you can find us at C/O Khurshid Ahmad Bhat, near the 250Kva Lalwani Mohal. It’s a quiet enough place most of the time, and we mostly focus on construction stuff around here. Pampore is famous for saffron, but people still need houses and walls and roads built, and that’s where we come in. We are local people, so we don't go around acting like we are some big international firm. It is just about getting the materials to the site and making sure the builders know what they are doing for the day. Khurshid Ahmad Bhat handles a lot of the coordination from our spot in Lalwani Mohal. We don’t really have a glossy brochure or anything. Usually, it’s just folks from the mohalla or nearby villages coming by to talk about a project they have in mind. Construction involves a lot of dust and waiting for the weather to clear up, especially in this part of the country. We just take it day by day and try to get the jobs finished. If we aren't at the office, we are probably out at a site checking on progress. It's basic work, but it keeps us busy and is how we make our living here in Chandhara. We just do the work and hope the weather stays good for building things correctly. That's about it. We just stick to the way we have always done things.
