Shubh Essential Oil & Chemicals

Our place is near the Ramkrishna Dharamsala, right by the Bisauli Gate. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood, and you can usually smell the oils before you even see the building. We work with all kinds of essential oils and chemicals here at Shubh. It’s a lot of pouring, measuring, and sealing bottles. The floor is sometimes a bit slippery if someone isn't careful. We aren't a big corporation with fancy uniforms. Most of us just wear old clothes because the oils can leave stains. We have a lot of big metal drums sitting around the entrance. The gate area gets crowded with rickshaws and carts, which makes loading difficult sometimes. We spend a lot of our time checking the purity of the oils we get. It's a lot of sitting and waiting for things to filter or settle. We don’t have a flashy showroom. It’s just a practical workspace where we do the filling and the packing. Sometimes the smells get really strong, especially when we’re handling peppermint or eucalyptus. We’ve been near the dharamsala for years now, and the locals know us. We just keep to our routine of filling orders and talking to the wholesalers who come by. It’s a bit of a messy business, but it keeps us busy and we like the work well enough.
