Khawaja Ghareeb Nawaz Degree College

Our college is located right out on the Badaun Moradabad Road. If you’re driving from Badaun, you’ll see the 14 km milestone near Bankota, and that’s pretty much where we are. It’s a bit of a trek for some of the students who come from the surrounding villages. They usually arrive on bicycles or take the local buses that stop near the entrance. The campus is spread out enough that there’s plenty of room to walk around between classes. It’s a degree college, so the students are a bit older and more serious about their business, though you still see them hanging out in the shade of the trees when it’s hot. The building is a sturdy brick structure, typical for this part of Uttar Pradesh. Inside, the hallways are wide, and the classrooms have those big wooden desks that have been there for ages. You can see the fields stretching out behind the college walls, which gives it a calm feeling compared to being right in the middle of a noisy city. We handle the daily stuff like admissions and exams without much fuss. There isn't a lot of extra decoration around here; it’s mostly just white walls and chalkboards. It’s a practical place for people who want to get their degrees. We see a lot of different faces every year, and we just keep the doors open for anyone willing to make the trip out here.
