Specifically, we are inside Raj Machinery Store, which belongs to Mr. Lovely Kalra. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for an accounting firm, being tucked away with a machinery store, but it works for us. The market is always loud with the sounds of people and machines. We have our little corner where we handle all the tax work and the audits. Being on Railway Road means there is always something going on outside. It is a very local business atmosphere. We don’t have a separate entrance or anything like that; you just come through the machinery store. It’s practical and it keeps us close to the heart of the trading community here in Badaun. We spend our days going through ledgers and helping people make sense of their business numbers. It’s just how things are done in this town. We don’t have any polished corporate brochures. Most people know us through Mr. Kalra or just from being in the market for years. It’s a simple way to run a firm. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized among all the equipment and parts around us. It’s a bit crowded but we don’t mind the activity around the shop.
