You can find us at the Dar Building in Hawal. It is an interesting part of the old city, very close to the Fort. Being near the Fort gives the whole area a different feel compared to the newer parts of Srinagar. We spend our days here talking to people who want to see the sights. The old city can be a bit crowded, but Hawal is where we have set up our base. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything fancy. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just walking past the building. We focus on the practical side of things, like booking rooms or finding a driver who knows the shortcuts. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. The Dar Building is easy to spot if you are looking for it. We like being in this part of town because it feels more real. You see the same faces every day. When someone comes in, we just talk to them like a neighbor. We tell them what is open and what is closed. It is just a small office with some maps and a lot of tea. We have been doing this for a bit now and we know how things work around here. Hawal is a busy place, but once you step inside, it is just us working away on the next trip for someone. We don't complicate things much around here at all.
