Aarti Steels Ltd (Steel & Power )

We are out here at Majhianghara in the Boudh district. The place is called Aarti Steels Ltd, specifically for the steel and power side of things. Sujit Kumar Purohit is the one you usually find around here at our Po-Khuntabandha spot. It gets quite busy with the trucks coming and going. The air smells like iron most days. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks and the sound of the machinery humming in the distance. People around here know where we are, right near the main road. It is a practical setup. We handle a lot of the power needs and the steel processing for this part of Orissa. Sometimes the electricity flickers but we keep things moving regardless. It is not a quiet job. The sun hits the metal roofs and it gets hot inside by midday. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. Most of us live nearby or in the town. If you need to find Sujit, he is usually checking on the loads or looking over the paperwork in the small office. We have been at this for a while now. It is just basic work, nothing too complicated to talk about. We just make sure the output is steady and the workers are doing their bit. It is what it is, a big plant in a quiet district. We just keep our heads down and do what is required for the day's shift.
