About Rajdhani Dehydration – Food & Beverages in Botad
Out here in Neswad, Savarkundla, things move at a slightly different pace. We are Rajdhani Dehydration, and we’ve been working with drying out vegetables for a long time. If you drive through this part of the country, you’ll see plenty of farms, and that’s where our work starts. We take in a lot of produce and use our machines to take the moisture out. It’s a messy job sometimes, and the smell of onions or whatever we are drying that day really sticks to your clothes. The facility isn't some high-tech lab; it’s a working plant with grit and dust. We have people from the nearby villages working the shifts. Some days the machines act up or the weather makes things difficult, but we just fix what we can and keep going. Savarkundla is a quiet place mostly, but during the harvest seasons, it gets very busy around here. Trucks are always backed up waiting to unload. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the drying process and making sure the crates are packed properly. It’s hard work, and the floors are rarely clean for long, but we take a certain pride in the volume of stuff we manage to process every month. It’s just us, the machines, and a lot of fresh air out here in Neswad. Sometimes we stay late when the onion season is peaking just to keep up with the loads.
