Manavadhikar And Social Justice Citizenforum operates out of the Gadhada district, specifically in the Gadhali East area. Our base is at Jethubha Tapubha’s place in Gadhada taluka, within District Botad. It’s a very traditional part of the region, and we are right there among the people. We started this forum because we saw that people in our district often didn't know how to handle social justice issues or their own rights. Instead of making it a big official thing, we kept it local. We meet under the trees or in small rooms to talk about what is happening in the community. Jethubha is a well-known name around here, which helps people trust us when they have a problem. We don't have a website with fancy photos or a big staff. It is mostly just local citizens volunteering their time when they aren't working their regular jobs. The roads out here in Gadhali can be a bit rough, but we don't mind traveling to meet folks where they are. We listen more than we talk. Dealing with justice and rights can be complicated, but we try to explain things in plain Gujarati or English so everyone understands. It’s not about being a big organization; it’s about being there for our neighbors when they feel like they don't have a voice. We take it one case at a time and try to keep things as honest as possible for everyone.
