Our shop is Shop No. 8 in the Visaman Complex. We are right on Turkha Road in Botad. If you know where the bus stand is, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a very busy spot because of the commuters coming and going. You hear the buses pulling in all day long. We opened up here because it’s easy for people from the surrounding villages to find us when they get off the bus. The complex itself has a few other shops, so there’s always people wandering around. Inside our space, things are pretty simple. We have shelves stocked with whatever we are dealing with that week. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when a lot of people come in at once. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything is in order. Usually, we are busy talking to customers or organizing the inventory. The floor is concrete and we have a small desk where we keep the ledger. It’s dusty work sometimes, especially in the summer. We get to know the regulars pretty well. They stop by for a chat even if they aren't buying anything. That’s just how it is in a place like Botad. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just a local enterprise doing our daily job and helping folks who stop by to see us in the complex.
