Gujrat Steel

If you come down to Chitra GIDC, you’ll find us at Plot No. 281/A. We are right across from Vishwakarma Body, which is a big landmark for people trying to find the place. Gujrat Steel has been operating out of this spot for quite a bit. It’s a lot of metal, dust, and the sound of cutting torches most days. We deal with various steel items, mostly for local builders and other workshops nearby. The yard is usually full of inventory, so it can look a bit messy, but we know where everything is. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don't spend much time at desks; we're usually out on the floor checking the stock or helping load up a customer's truck. Being in Bhavnagar, the weather is often dry, which is good for the steel so it doesn't rust too fast outside. We have a few guys who have been cutting and welding for decades. They’re good at what they do, even if they don't say much. We don't do much advertising. Most people just stop by because they saw the sign or someone told them we had what they needed. It’s a simple business. We get the steel in, we process it a bit if needed, and we send it out. It’s loud, it’s dirty, but it’s our daily life here in the GIDC area.
