Afsar Sha Sarees

Our shop is located at 8-4-369/169/122 in Madhura Nagar, which is part of the Borabanda area. It’s a busy neighborhood, always full of noise and people walking by. If you come by Afsar Sha Sarees, you’ll see we have piles of cloth everywhere. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time unfolding and refolding sarees for anyone who stops in. The lighting isn't the best, so we often have to take things near the door to see the real colors. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s usually someone sitting in the back having tea or talking to a neighbor. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our customers are from the surrounding streets in Madhura Nagar. The street outside is narrow, so it’s always a bit of a mess with scooters and pedestrians. When it rains, the water tends to pool up near the entrance, which is a pain. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the stock to worry about that. It’s just a local shop where we sell what we have and talk to the people who come in.
