Sarkar Garments

We have been sitting here at Sarkar Garments on Court Road for a good while now. It is a small place but it stays busy most days when the courts are open and people are walking by. The shop is filled with different kinds of clothes, mostly things people need for their daily lives. You can find piles of shirts and trousers everywhere. Sometimes the displays get a bit messy because people like to touch everything, but we try to keep things tidy enough. The road outside is always loud with horns and people shouting, but inside it is just us doing our work. We open the shutters early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Most of the people who come in are regulars from around the neighborhood or folks who have business at the court. We don't have fancy lights or big signs, just a simple spot where you can get what you need without a fuss. There is a tea stall nearby that brings us drinks when it is quiet. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we do. Dealing with garments means there is always a bit of lint in the air and stacks of boxes in the back corner. We just keep at it day after day, making sure the stock is ready for whoever walks through the door next. It is not much, but it is our place here on Court Road.
