Raima Enterprise

Being on Railway Station Road means it’s always loud outside our door. Raima Enterprise is right in the middle of all that noise and the dust from the trains. We deal with whatever stock comes in that week, mostly just general items. The shop is narrow and deep, so things get piled up towards the back where it’s a bit dark. You can hear the trains whistling all day long from here. It’s a busy spot, plenty of people walking past our door to catch their ride to the next town. We try to keep things organized, but with the dust from the road, it’s a constant battle with the duster. I usually open up early before the first big train arrives in the morning. It’s just a local business trying to keep things moving. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the shop on the road. Most of our customers are just passing through or live nearby in the old houses. We carry a bit of everything depending on what's available from the suppliers. The shelves are wooden and a bit old now. Sometimes we sit on the bench outside when it’s quiet and watch the people go by. It’s a basic life here. We’ve seen the station change over the years, but our little corner stays mostly the same. Just a man and his shop. We do the accounts in a big paper ledger every night by hand.
