Lower Assam Hospital & Research Centre

The Lower Assam Hospital & Research Centre is on Chapaguri Road. It is a bit different from a regular hospital because we also have the research side of things going on here. It is a large facility and the staff is always on the move. You see doctors in white coats and researchers carrying folders full of notes. The Chapaguri Road location is convenient for most people in the area. We have a lot of different sections in the building. Some parts are very loud with people talking and babies crying, while the research areas are a lot quieter. The furniture is nothing special, just basic desks and chairs that have been here for years. We get a lot of natural light in the lobby during the morning, which is nice. There is always a lot of paperwork to deal with, and the filing cabinets are pretty full. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or polished brochures. People find us because they need help or they are part of a study. The floors get mopped a lot because of all the foot traffic. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs. It is a functional place that stays open late. We are just here doing the daily work that comes with running a hospital and a center like this on Chapaguri Road.
