This location is over on Karbala Road, right near the Savera Cinema in Giridih. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded around movie times. We are tucked away in a spot care of B P Lohani. It’s a bit different from a standard office building since we are right in the middle of the local life in Jharkhand. Most of our day is spent dealing with the logistics side of things for Vedanta Resources Plc. It can get noisy outside with the traffic and people heading to the cinema, but inside we just focus on the work. We’ve been here for a bit and the locals mostly leave us to it. The office itself is pretty basic. We have the usual stuff like computers and printers that don't always want to work. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we end up waiting around or just doing things the old-fashioned way. It’s a practical setup. There’s no big sign or flashy lights. We just handle the local requirements and make sure everything stays on track for the bigger company. The heat in Giridih can be something else during May, so we keep the fans going all day. It’s a steady kind of life here. We aren't trying to impress anyone; we just have a job to do and this is where we do it. It’s a real place with real people working every day without any big corporate talk.
