We are based out of Bokaro, specifically over at the Cooperative Plot No 442/5. This is Kamla Prasad Lohiya's place originally. We do building work around here. It’s a family-run kind of thing, not some big corporate giant. Most of our days are spent checking on sites and making sure the bricks and cement show up on time. You know how it is in construction, there's always something. We handle various projects, mostly residential stuff for people in the neighborhood. We grew up here, so we know the local ground and what the weather does to buildings. It’s not always easy, especially when the supplies get delayed or the rain starts pouring down in Jharkhand. We just try to be honest about what we can do. We don’t have a flashy office with leather chairs. It’s just a practical space where we look at blueprints and talk to clients. We've been around Bokaro for a bit now. People know where to find us if they need a wall built or a house started. We just focus on getting the job finished so the owners can move in. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy. We like being part of the community here and seeing the town grow. Nothing too complicated about it. We just do the work. It’s about keeping things simple and making sure the roofs don't leak when the monsoon hits.
