Technoculture Building Centre Pvt. Ltd.

Down here in Bokaro Steel City, we operate Technoculture Building Centre Pvt. Ltd. out of Sector-2/C. If you know the area, you know where Quarter Number 4220 is. It is just a regular spot in Jharkhand where we deal with building materials and construction ideas. It’s not a huge shiny showroom or something you’d see in a big city magazine. We mostly have piles of stuff and people coming in to talk about their houses or projects they are starting. The steel city has its own rhythm and we just fit into that. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about the weather, but then it gets frantic when a big delivery arrives. We don’t have a big marketing team writing stuff for us. It’s just a few of us handling the paperwork and making sure the supplies get moved. Working in a steel town means everyone knows a bit about building things, so we can’t really cut corners even if we wanted to. People here talk and if you do a bad job, everyone hears about it at the market. So we just try to keep things moving and stay organized in the office, which is easier said than done most weeks. It gets quite dusty around here with all the work going on, but that is just how it is. We’ve been at this for some time now and we just take it one day at a time.
