We are based in Bokaro Steel City, specifically over in Sector-5-D at Quarter Number 2041. Life here in Jharkhand is pretty much tied to the rhythm of the city and the steel plant. Psu has been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s a residential quarter, so it doesn't feel like a cold, corporate office building. You have neighbors hanging out their laundry and kids playing nearby while we are inside working. The address is under A. Swaminathan’s name, and that’s how most people recognize the location. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s quiet enough to get things done without too much distraction. We have a few desks squeezed into the rooms and plenty of shelf space for all the records we have to keep. The mornings are usually the busiest when we are sorting through the mail and getting the schedule ready. In the afternoons, it gets a bit slower, and we might take a longer break for some snacks from the local market. It’s a simple way of working. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that, just the quarter number that identifies where we are. It’s a small operation, and we like that we can just walk to work or take a quick cycle ride. Most of us have lived in Bokaro our whole lives, so this feels like home more than a workplace and we like it that way.
