Mushkan Hospital

We have been here in Ram Nagar Colony for a while now. The building at B.S.City B.S.City is just a regular place where we show up every morning to get things ready. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, or the traffic outside gets really loud, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Most days start with unlocking the front gate and making sure the floor is swept before anyone arrives. It’s not a fancy hospital setup. We have some simple plastic chairs in the waiting area and a wooden desk that’s seen better days. People from around the colony walk in mostly. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood through the windows, like the street vendors or the kids playing nearby. We keep the patient files in those big metal cabinets that squeak when you open them. It isn’t like those big hospitals you see on TV with glass walls and uniforms. It’s just us. The rooms are plain, and we try to keep things organized, though paperwork has a way of piling up on the small table in the corner. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks who stop by with questions. It’s a job, and we do it every day, from the time the sun comes up until we lock up in the evening. There’s always someone looking for directions in Ram Nagar. We just stay here and do what needs doing.
