At Modern Latex India Ltd, we are tucked away in the Bari Co-operative area of Bokaro Steel City. Our place is called Aastha Villa, on Plot 58A. People know Bokaro mostly for the steel, but we focus on latex products here in Jharkhand. It is a different kind of industry for this town, but we have made it work. The weather here can get quite dry, and we have to keep an eye on how that affects the materials we use. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of people; it is a more local operation where we know everyone’s name. Working out of the 827010 pin code area means we are close to the residential parts, so we try to keep things orderly. It’s a lot of manual work and checking the quality of the rubber. We don't have a glossy website or a bunch of salespeople. If people need latex supplies, they usually find us through word of mouth or by coming down to Bari Co-operative. We just show up, do the manufacturing, and handle the shipping ourselves. It’s practical, everyday work. Sometimes the machinery acts up or the supply chain slows down, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's a quiet corner of Bokaro, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and produce what’s needed. The local community has been very supportive since we started here.
