MEH Medical College and Hospital

We've been here in Bokaro Steel City for a while now, tucked away in Sector 8B on Street 23. Most people just know us as MEH Medical College and Hospital. It's a busy place with doctors, students, and patients coming through the doors all day long. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the hallways, especially on Monday mornings when everyone seems to show up at once. We've got our quarters here at 2115, which makes things easier for the staff who need to stay close by for late shifts. It isn't a fancy glass building like you see in the big metros, but it does what it needs to do. People from all over the city and the nearby areas come here when they aren't feeling well or when they want to learn how to become doctors. The students are usually seen carrying heavy books and wearing white coats, looking a bit tired but determined. There's a lot of walking involved around the campus. We try to keep things organized, though it’s a constant job with so much going on. The street outside can get a bit noisy with the traffic from the steel plant workers going home, but inside we just focus on the rounds and the classes. It’s just how life is here in this part of India. We aren't trying to be anything more than a solid place for medical care and teaching. It's a lot of work, but we're used to it.
