Keshari Store

Keshari Store is tucked into the busy stretch of the Main Road near Steel Gate in Saraidhela. It is a typical spot where we sell all the small things people need for their daily lives in Dhanbad. We have been here for a long time, and the shop has a bit of an old feel to it, which we do not mind at all. The shelves are filled with everything from tea leaves and sugar to notebooks and light bulbs. Every morning starts with the same routine of checking what ran out the day before and making sure we have enough change for the first few customers. The street outside is always noisy with people going to work or heading towards the Saraidhela junction, and that energy keeps us going throughout the day. We do not have a big staff, just us working behind the counter and moving boxes around when the deliveries arrive. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when three or four people come in at once, but we manage to get everyone what they need. It is not a fancy place with bright lights or air conditioning, just a basic store that smells a bit like spices and old paper. We are just here doing our job and being a part of the local community. It is a lot of standing and talking, but it is what we know how to do best in this little corner of Dhanbad.
