Ispat Energy Ltd

Ispat Energy Ltd has its office at 51/2, Kabir Nagar in the Durgakund area of Varanasi. It is a very busy part of town with a lot of history, and we have been part of the local scene for quite a few years now. Our building is simple and stays relatively cool during the hot U.P. summers, which we are thankful for. We focus on energy projects, which means a lot of coordination and a fair amount of paperwork every single day. There is almost always someone in the office to pick up the phone, usually one of the long-time staff members who knows how everything works. It is funny because sometimes the power goes out in the neighborhood, even though we are an energy company, but we just wait it out and keep working by the window light. We do not have a marketing department or fancy brochures to hand out. Most people in Kabir Nagar know us just by being around for so long. There is a tea stall right around the corner where we usually take our breaks and talk about the day’s work. It is a very normal, practical way to run a business. We are not trying to be some giant corporation. We just want to do our bit for the local industry here in Varanasi and make sure things run as they should. It is steady work that keeps us all occupied.
