Gyan Sagar

Our place is located right on the Gyan Sagar Main Road in Chas, which is part of the Bokaro Steel District. It is quite easy to find since we are situated near the Government Hospital. Being close to a hospital means there is always a lot of movement outside, with people walking by and cars constantly looking for parking spaces. The road can get quite dusty, especially when the wind picks up, so we end up cleaning the front area more often than we would like. Inside, the shop is filled with various items and the smell of paper. It is a simple setup with wooden shelves that have seen better days. We spend the morning setting things up and checking what came in the previous evening. There is not a lot of quiet time here because of the traffic noise from the main road, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We sit on plastic chairs behind the counter and wait for whoever needs something. The ceiling light flickers sometimes, and we keep saying we will fix it, but we never quite get around to it. It is a practical space for our daily routine. Sometimes local neighbors stop by just to chat for a minute before heading to the market. We do not have any big signs or bright lights inside, just the regular stuff you find in a local business around here. It feels like home to us since we spend so many hours here.
