If you look for us in Bokaro Steel City, we are over at Plot No - 089 in the Co Operative Colony. Environmental Ubuntu Foundation isn't a massive organization with a glass building. It’s just a handful of us who care about the trees and the air around here. Bokaro is an industrial place, so we think it’s important to look after the green bits. We spend a lot of time just talking about how to keep the neighborhood clean. Ubuntu is a word about how we are all connected, and that’s how we try to run things. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment. Mostly, it's just hands-on work. The weather gets pretty hot in Jharkhand, so we do what we can when it’s cool enough to be outside. Our office isn't anything special, just a place to keep our tools and meet up. We don't do big speeches or marketing. We just live here and want the place to look okay. Sometimes we get together to plant things or just pick up litter near the colony. It’s a slow process. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of Bokaro. People know where to find us if they want to help out. We’re just local folks doing regular work. Nothing more, nothing less. We just take it day by day and hope for the best for our city.
