Our office is tucked away in Sector 4 G of Bokaro Steel City. If you know the area, it is Q No. 1277. It is a typical Jharkhand neighborhood, pretty quiet most of the time except for the usual sounds of the city. Elbee Express has been operating out of this house-turned-office for some time. We spend most of our hours looking at shipping logs and talking to drivers on their mobiles. Bokaro is a place built on steel, so everyone here understands hard work. We aren't some big corporate setup with glass walls. It is just a few rooms with computers and a lot of paper stacks. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. Dealing with express deliveries means things are always a bit rushed, but we try not to let it get to us. The staff here lives nearby, so we all walk or take a scooter to work. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just take the packages, write down the details, and make sure they get on the right truck heading out. The tea stall at the corner is where we usually end up after the shift. It’s just a normal business in a normal town, trying to keep the deliveries moving through Jharkhand and beyond without making it more complicated than it needs to be.
