Desert Line

Desert Line is based out here in Makhdumpur, which is part of Bokaro Steel City in Jharkhand. Our address is right in the heart of the district, postcode 827011. It’s an industrial sort of area, which fits the kind of work we do. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with desks and a few computers where we manage our daily operations. Living and working in Bokaro means we are used to the steel plant atmosphere and the busy streets. We’ve been here for a while, and most of the staff are locals from the state. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just handle the business under the Desert Line name. Some days are slower than others, but there is usually plenty of paperwork to get through. We keep the coffee pot going and try to stay on schedule. The people who come by are usually looking for work or checking on project statuses. It’s a grounded place. We don't use big words to describe ourselves. We are just a group of people in Jharkhand doing our part in the industry. It gets dusty outside sometimes because of all the construction and the plants, but that’s just life in Bokaro. We like being part of this community and plan to stay at this Makhdumpur location for the foreseeable future. There isn't much more to tell about us besides the work we do every day. It's what keeps us going.
