Site Engineer

I’m doing site engineer work here in Bokaro. It’s not a huge operation, just me handling things as they come. I’ve been in this area for quite some time now. Bokaro is a place where you get to know the land and the people pretty well. There’s always some construction or maintenance happening around the town. I spend most of my day out in the sun or checking on progress at different spots. It’s a straightforward job without much fuss. I don't really have a big office building to show people. Mostly, I just meet people where the work is actually happening. That’s how it usually goes with site engineering. You go where you’re needed. Some days are longer than others, especially when there’s a deadline coming up. Bokaro has a certain way of doing things, and I’ve gotten used to it over the years. It’s a steady pace most of the time. I don’t use a lot of fancy equipment unless it’s actually necessary for the task at hand. Just a lot of walking and checking things. People around here usually just call me on my mobile when there’s a project starting. It’s simpler that way. I grew up around here so I know the layout of the town and where the materials are. There isn't much more to say really. It’s just a job that needs doing and I’m the one doing it. No bells or whistles, just daily work. It keeps me active.
