Raja Oil Mill

Raja Oil Mill is situated at S-32 in the Cuty Centre, Sector-4, of Bokaro Steel City. If you know Bokaro, you know that Sector-4 is a busy hub. We’ve been operating the oil mill here for quite some time. It’s a loud place to work because of the machinery used to press the oil, and there’s always that heavy, warm smell of seeds being crushed. It’s a smell you either love or you get used to pretty fast. Our unit isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have in the Cuty Centre. We have the crushing machines in the back and a small area in the front where we handle the sales and talking to customers. Most people who come in are locals who have been buying from us for years. They know we don’t do anything fancy; we just make good oil. The floor is usually a bit slick, so you have to watch your step. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the machines, and the customers who walk in through the door. Being in a steel city, everything feels a bit industrial and gritty, and our mill fits right in with that vibe. We work hard, keep the machines oiled, and try to keep up with the demand from the local neighborhood. It’s a simple business but it keeps us on our feet.
