Digital Home

Out in Kunwar Singh Nagar, right in the Chas area of Bokaro, we have our shop called Digital Home. We deal with all sorts of things that people need for their houses, especially the electronic stuff. It is not a huge store, but we try to keep the things people actually use in stock. Some days are slow, while other times we have people coming in one after another asking about repairs or new gadgets. The shop can get a bit cluttered with boxes, especially when a new shipment arrives from the city. We spend a lot of time explaining how things work to people who are not too sure about technology. It is just the few of us here, so if someone is out on a delivery, things can get a bit hectic at the counter. Bokaro is a decent place to be, and Chas has a lot of energy. We have set up our space to be functional rather than pretty. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather is bad, but we keep the doors open anyway. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we are just providing what the neighborhood needs. It is a straightforward business. We fix what we can and sell what we have. Most people who come in live just a few streets away, so we end up chatting about more than just electronics. It is just our way of keeping the shop going through the week.
