About Vr Vicky Raj Photography – Metals & Minerals in Bokaro Steel City
I started Vr Vicky Raj Photography in Bokaro because I always liked taking pictures of things happening around town. It isn't a huge studio with a bunch of assistants and bright lights everywhere. Most of the time, it is just me and my gear, heading out to wherever people need someone to capture a moment. Bokaro is a decent place to work because there are always weddings, birthdays, or just regular family gatherings happening. I’ve spent a lot of time walking around different neighborhoods here, looking for good spots to take shots. Sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate, and we have to move things inside or wait for the rain to stop. I don’t really like the over-edited look that some people go for nowadays. I prefer just keeping things the way they actually looked when I pressed the button. My camera bag is a bit worn out from all the traveling, but it still does the job. People in town know me, and I get a lot of work just by word of mouth. I keep my files organized on a couple of hard drives, which takes up a lot of my evening time. It is a lot of sitting in front of a screen once the actual event is over. But that is the life of a photographer in a place like this. I just try to keep things real and simple for everyone.
