Ratan Industries

Ratan Industries is situated at Plot No. 1/C in the Bokaro Industrial Area, specifically in the Balidh section. If you know Bokaro, you know it’s a place where things are built tough. Our factory is no different. It’s a solid building with high ceilings and heavy steel doors that we slide open every morning at dawn. The air in Balidh always has that metallic tang to it, and there’s usually smoke or steam rising from somewhere nearby. We deal with industrial parts and manufacturing, so the floor is always busy with guys in heavy boots and work clothes. It’s a noisy place with the sounds of metal hitting metal and the overhead cranes moving things around. We don't have much in the way of air conditioning, just some large industrial fans that move the hot air around. We spend our time checking specs and making sure the machines are calibrated right. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the shift, everyone is pretty worn out. We have a small area where we keep our tools locked up and a tiny room for the supervisor to keep the logs. Most of our day is spent on our feet, managing the production line and seeing to it that the trucks are loaded before the gates close for the night. We’ve been part of this industrial landscape for years, and we just keep doing what we know how to do.
