Assam Agency has roots in a lot of different places like Duliajan, Dergaon, and Jorhat. We also have some spots in Digboi and Tinsukia. It sounds like a whole lot of traveling to manage it all, and it usually is. Our main point of reference for people is often the Chandrama Cinema Hall. Locals use it to find us because it is such a well-known spot in the area. Dealing with all these different towns means someone is always on the move. The roads can be pretty rough depending on the season, especially when the monsoon hits this part of Assam. We handle various goods and supplies for the local people who live around here. It is more about being available when someone actually needs something. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls or anything. Most of our places are just practical spaces. In Jorhat or Tinsukia, the pace of life is a bit slower than the big cities, but we stay busy enough. We know a lot of the local shopkeepers and the families who have been here for generations. It is a community thing for us. Sometimes we sit near the cinema hall and just watch the crowds go in for a movie while we wait for a delivery truck to arrive. It is not a complicated business. We just manage the agency as best as we can across these different locations. Every town has its own feel, but the work we do remains the same for everyone.
