Our workshop is located at Gut No. 240/5/6/7 along the Boisar Mahagaon Road in Village Varangade. This is part of the Boisar East area in Palghar taluka. It’s a quiet village setting but we have a lot going on once you step inside the gates. We focus on power transmission components and metal parts. The space is divided into different sections for storage and assembly. We have a few big machines that take up most of the room and they make quite a lot of noise. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the big doors open for some air and light. The workers here are mostly locals who walk or bike in every morning from the nearby houses. We aren't a high-tech lab; we are a functional production unit that's been here for years. There’s always the smell of oil and the sound of metal clanking. We’ve got some old wooden desks in the corner where we handle the billing and the phone calls. The yard outside has some trees where we sit during lunch to get away from the machines. It’s a straightforward business with no hidden extras. We make parts and we ship them out to whoever needs them. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or expensive advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people to our gate eventually. The road outside has been getting busier lately with more factories popping up. We just stick to our schedule and try to get things done.
