Our yard is at Plot No-J, 251, right across from the Viraj Profile building. We’re near the Khara Phatak, which is a landmark most people in the area know. It’s a busy industrial zone, and there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks passing by. We keep our cranes parked here when they aren't out on a job. It’s a large open plot, mostly dirt and gravel. We’ve got a small tin shack that serves as our office where we keep the logbooks and the keys. It’s not the most comfortable place, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time outside checking the cables and the hydraulics. The sun can be pretty brutal out here at Plot 251, but that’s just the nature of the work. We started this service because there was so much construction happening near Khara Phatak and they needed heavy lifting. We don't have a team of sales people. Usually, a site manager just calls us up because they saw our cranes working on another plot. We just try to get to the site on time and get the job done without any drama. The equipment is old but we take care of it ourselves. It’s a straightforward business—moving heavy things from one spot to another and making sure everything stays safe. We've been here long enough that the surroundings feel like part of the family.
