Chamundi Electric & Pipes

We have Shops 1, 2, and 3 over on Navapur Road, which gives us a decent amount of room, though it still feels cramped once the pipes start coming in. Chamundi Electric & Pipes is the kind of place where your hands stay a bit dusty most of the day. There is no air conditioning in the front, so we just leave the shutters up and let the air move through. Dealing with electrical stuff and plumbing means there are always a thousand small parts to keep track of in little bins. Sometimes someone comes in for a specific fitting we haven't seen in years, and we have to go digging in the back of shop three to find it. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around to get to the stock at the bottom. We aren't big on fancy displays or anything like that. The walls are mostly covered in shelves and hanging wires. People from the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to ask a quick question about a leak or a fuse. We keep a ledger for the regulars and try to stay on top of the inventory, even when it gets messy during a big delivery. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we pull the shutters down at night. The road outside can get pretty dusty, but that’s just part of being in this line of work.
