Our facility, Maadurga Food Products Pvt. Ltd., is located on Barun Road in Daud Nagar. We are quite close to the Hanuman Mandir, so it’s easy for people to find us by looking for the temple. The smell of whatever we are making that day usually drifts out onto the road. It’s a busy place with people coming and going all the time. We aren't a massive factory, just a local operation where we do things the old way mostly. The machinery is loud, and we have to shout over it sometimes to hear each other. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just focus on getting the food products packed and ready. It’s a lot of manual work. We have a small office tucked in the corner, but it’s mostly piled high with bags and boxes. The floor is concrete and we keep it as clean as we can, but it's a working food plant, so there’s always something happening. Most of our workers live right here in Daud Nagar. We’ve known them and their families for years. It’s a tight-knit group. We don't put on any acts for visitors. We just show you what we are doing and how we do it. Barun Road can get crowded with carts, but we like being right in the middle of it all. It is hard work but we are used to it.
