Our mill is set up right on Hospital Road, specifically next to the Bobbili Eye Hospital. If you know the Mcs Sugar Factory, then you know exactly where we are because we’re right there on that same site. It’s a bit of a dusty environment because of all the grain and processing we do every day. The machines make a lot of noise from the moment we start in the morning until we finally shut everything down in the evening. Most of us here have worked at the mill for years and we’ve seen the town change quite a bit around us. The hospital next door brings a lot of people through this road, so it’s never really quiet outside. We handle a lot of the local agricultural stuff that comes in from the surrounding farms. It is hard work, especially when the weather gets hot and the sun is beating down on the roof of the factory. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. There’s just a small space where we keep the books and take a break. Sometimes the trucks get backed up on the road waiting to unload, and that causes a bit of a stir with the neighbors. We just try to get the milling done and keep the equipment running like it’s supposed to. It’s a plain life here at the mill, but we get by.
