G L R Jewellery

Our shop, G L R Jewellery, is sitting at 56-11 on Bazaar Road in Techkomatipalli Village. It’s a small village, so things move a bit slower here than they do in the bigger towns. We’ve been on this road for a long time and have seen many neighbors come and go. The shop itself is nothing fancy. We have the usual glass counters and some old chairs for people to sit on while they look at things. It gets quite warm in the summer because we don't have big air conditioning units, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day. We spend a lot of our time cleaning the glass and making sure everything is in its right place. The locals often stop by just to say hello or ask about the news in the bazaar. We don't do any big advertising or have a website. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for decades. Sometimes we sit outside on the step when it's quiet. It is a simple way of living and working. We keep our records in thick notebooks and use a small calculator for the math. It might seem old-fashioned to some, but it’s how we’ve always done it at G L R Jewellery. We just keep the doors open and wait to see who walks in from the village today.
