We are based out in Gohpur, right in the village where Sadananda Hazarika lives. Being in a small sub-division means everyone knows each other. We do development work, which mostly means helping out with local building projects. It’s a small operation. We don't have a big corporate headquarters; we just work from where we are. Dealing with land and building things in this part of the state takes a lot of patience. Things move at a different pace here than in the big cities. We handle the paperwork and the actual site work when someone wants to put something up. Most of the time, it's just a few of us coordinating with workers and making sure things are leveled right. We’ve seen Gohpur change quite a bit over the years. It’s nice to be part of the stuff that stays behind, like a new wall or a house. We don’t talk much about strategies or anything like that. We just look at the plot, see what needs doing, and get to it. Sometimes we run into issues with the rain or getting supplies delivered all the way out here, but we manage. If you’re looking for us, we’re usually around the village area. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. We like being local and staying close to the projects we take on. It keeps things simple for everyone involved. Usually, you can find us discussing the next steps near the site where the work is happening.
