Biswanath Mustard Oil Private Limited

Our operation is based in Gagal Gaon, right in the Biswanath Chariali area. We work out of the premises of Nabajyoti Neog. The main thing we do here is produce mustard oil. If you visit, the first thing you will notice is the strong, sharp smell of the mustard seeds being processed. It is a very distinctive scent that stays with you. We are a small team working in a village setting, so everything is very grounded and practical. We don't have any interest in sounding like a big corporation. We just focus on the machines and the oil. Most of our days are spent checking the state of the seeds and making sure the bottling is going right. Biswanath Chariali is a good place for this kind of work. The local community knows us and we know them. We handle everything from the raw materials to the final containers that leave our gate. It is a messy job sometimes, with oil and dust, but it is what we do. We do not have any big mission statements. We just want to produce oil that people can use in their kitchens every day. The work is steady and it follows the seasons of the crops. We stay busy in Gagal Gaon, keeping the production line moving and making sure we stay on top of the orders. It is just honest work in a local village.
