Bhimajuli Tea Private Limited

Bhimajuli Tea Private Limited is based out of a small village called Delichang. If you are looking for us, we are at Kirton Khodal’s place in Vill No. 2. It’s out in Biswanath Chariali, where the air is a bit cleaner than in the big cities. We focus on tea because that’s what the land here is good for. There isn't much else to do in this part of Assam, so we stick to what we know. The office is really just a room with some desks and a lot of paper. We don't use many computers for the daily stuff. Most of our day is spent talking to the workers and checking on the bushes. When the picking season starts, everyone gets really busy. It is hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on you. We’ve had some tough years with the weather, but we keep going. Our family has been in this area for a long time. We know the soil and we know how the rain behaves. We don't have a website or anything like that. If people want to talk to us, they usually just come to the village. It’s a quiet life, but it keeps us fed. We send our tea out to different markets once it is processed. It isn't a glamorous job, but someone has to do it. We take pride in just getting the work done.
