Storey Homes Private Limited is situated out in Mouza Khamar Bishnupur, near Langolpota in Rajarhat. This part of the region is seeing a lot of new things being built, and we are right in the middle of it. Our focus is on making houses, hence the name. The area around Rajarhat used to be much quieter, but now there is construction everywhere you look. We aren't a massive developer with a high-rise office in the city center. We operate closer to where the ground is actually being broken. The paperwork and the planning happen at our Bishnupur location. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it keeps us near the projects. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and checking on laborers. Sometimes the weather in West Bengal makes things difficult, especially when the monsoon hits and everything turns to mud. We just wait it out and start again. We don't put on any airs about what we do. It’s about putting one brick on top of another until there is a place for a family to live. We’ve got a small team and we keep things manageable. That’s our way of doing things in this part of Rajarhat.
