Sona Food Products

Sona Food Products is located right in the middle of Mallarpur Bazar in Birbhum. Being in the bazar means it’s always loud and there’s constantly something happening outside our door. We make various food items here, and the smell of whatever we are processing that day usually fills the whole street. It’s a busy environment with people coming and going all day long. We don't have a lot of fancy machinery, a lot of what we do is still done by hand or with simple tools. We’ve been here in Mallarpur for a long time, and everyone knows the family. The building is old and we’ve had to patch it up a few times, but it serves its purpose. We spend our days preparing ingredients, packaging things up, and talking to the local shopkeepers who buy from us. It’s hard work and the kitchen area gets quite hot in the summer, but we are used to it. We don't really bother with big fancy labels or expensive advertising; the food usually speaks for itself around here. Sometimes we run out of stock faster than we can make it, which is a good problem to have, I suppose. We just try to keep things clean and keep the prices fair for the local people. It’s a simple life, focused on making food for the community. We just keep the fires going and get the work done.
